Professor Dr. iur. Ulrich M. Gassner, Mag. rer. publ., M. Jur. (Oxon.)
Professor Dr. Gassner is a former data protection officer at the University of Augsburg, holder of a professorship in public law, founding director of the Research Center for Medical Device Law (FMPR) and director of the Institute for Bio-, Health- and Medical Law (IBGM) at the University of Augsburg. As a proven expert in the fields of data protection and medical law, Professor Gassner supports IITR Datenschutz GmbH in particular in matters of data protection in the healthcare sector.
Professor Dr. Michael Hassemer
Professor Dr. Hassemer is the chair of the Department of Civil Law, Economic Law and Intellectual Property in the School of Business Studies and Economics at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. His scholarship focuses on the intersection between technology, business, and law. Therefore, the main areas of his research and teaching are intellectual property rights (patent law, utility model laws, plant breeder’s rights, trademark law, copyright law), German and European business and competition law as well as contractual and non-contractual liability for defective
